Cierra Hinckson is a communications strategist and storyteller dedicated to building platforms to connect people, communities, and ideas. Her work spans sectors—from leading data-driven advocacy campaigns and authoring thought leadership at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, to supporting the editorial development of bestselling narrative nonfiction by artists, actors, and social activists at Crown Publishing Group. She currently serves as a Project Coordinator at Third Settlements consultancy, where she oversees project logistics for a wide range of clients focused on social impact, including nonprofits, global foundations, creative agencies, and tech companies. A cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University and Posse Scholar, Cierra earned her B.A. with a double major in Political Science and African American & Diaspora Studies. She received the James Lee Ray Award for outstanding leadership in her department and service to the Vanderbilt community. Her work has been published in AmeriQuests journal.
